Where a guide is factually wrong, it gets corrected. Accuracy is the only thing a reference site has to offer, and a page out of date on a code requirement is worse than no page at all.

Readers looking for someone to carry out the work are best served by the ordinary channels. Put the same written specification to every firm, so the prices that come back are actually comparable.

The guides explain kitchen and bath remodeling work; they do not provide it. Hiring somebody is a separate matter the reader arranges directly with a local firm.
